I was recovering from a knee injury and I had lost my motivation to get back exercising. I happened to stumble upon Tighten Up on my way home from work one day and I arranged an assessment.

My trainer Jewelz was incredibly thorough and went through all my medical history and injuries and we discussed my goals. I can honestly say that signing up to train with Jewelz was the best decision I have made in the past year. From a physical perspective my level of fitness, strength and stability has greatly improved. I have lost weight, toned up and gained lean muscle.

Jewelz is very intuitive and she knows when to push me, she is also aware that people can have “off days” and knows when I have reached my limits! On the flip side of this she is not afraid to increase the weights and make you do an extra few reps, but this is what gets the results!

Jewelz always mixes things up and keeps it interesting. I think this variety is essential and it’s great for conditioning your body. In addition to the training Jewelz gives great tips on nutrition, if I have any food queries I go straight to her. She also gave me advice and recommended strengthening exercises when I sprained my ankle earlier this year.

Training with Jewelz has been great for me physically and mentally and I would highly recommend her as a trainer.
