Food is designed to be enjoyed because it is delicious, nutritious, and meant to nourish our bodies. Adjust your current eating habits to healthier ones. Learn to love whole foods. Occasionally enjoy sweet treats without feeling guilty about it. Cultivate a healthy mental, physical, and emotional balance because it can be life-changing.

If you’re a serial-dieter, it’s time to rethink your approach. Stop focusing on how much weight you want to lose. Visualize how you would love your body to look instead.

Consistency is Key. Do Not Strive for Perfection.

Results are not achieved with a cookie-cutter approach since everybody’s bodies are different. Therefore, it’s imperative for you to respect, listen and trust your body.

Respect Your Body.

Take care of your body. Nurture it with sleep, rest between workouts, and nutrient-packed foods. A little self care goes a long way because it will help you train harder. You need to invest back into your body.

Listen to Your Body.

Your body will tell you when you need to rest, when you can train harder, and when it’s hungry and how much to eat in each meal. So listen. The problem with this is that we get so caught up in our daily lives that we forget to listen to our bodies. Be courageous enough to do what you know is right.

Trust Yourself.

Once you’re listening to your body, pay attention to the signs and take action. Tune into your inner-voice. Your body knows what it needs. Once you start listening to it, you will be surprised as to what you will learn such as what foods to avoid and when to eat.

If you’ve been doing the same exercise program for a great length of time and aren’t seeing results then it’s time for a re evaluate what you are doing. So what exercises work for the feminine physique?

  • Workout routines that are specifically designed for the female body. They will firm, tone, and lift your muscles without putting additional strain on your joints, ligaments, and tendons.
  • Fusion style training. This type of training usually combines free weights, bodyweight, metabolic training, isometrics, HIIT, and plyometrics.
  • Learn how to use the mind-to-muscle connection to consciously activate the target muscles in your trouble zones. Developing muscle density in these zones will shape, tighten and lift these areas of your body.
